The boyz and I have been working on developing unique, yummy, low-fat (don't tell them that!) wholesome treats for them to enjoy with their pals. We've been at a couple of farmer's markets a week selling our wares and have selected our most popular goodies to offer for web sales.
Everything here is shelf-stable (doesn't need to be refrigerated unless noted) and made with the highest-quality, human-grade ingredients. All of our meat/dairy/eggs are antibiotic- and growth-hormone free. All of our dry ingredients are organic or as close to it as possible. We of course use no salt, no sugar, and nothing else harmful to your dog.
We are proud to offer a handful of treats that are wheat-free and some entirely grain-free. Having a puggy with a sensitivity to grain I know how important it is to keep developing more along this route. Most of this stuff tastes good to humans too - so make sure to order enough for you and your pup to share!
NEWSFLASH: We've put our special edition cookies (like our Red Sox baseballs) on to the bottom of this page. We'll be streamlining the layout of the treats but wanted to get everything all-together so you could see everything at once!
All orders go USPS Priority Mail. If any items are heat-sensitive we'll advise below in the descriptions so that folks in Arizona don't order in the middle of the summer. Enjoy!
You should receive an order confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order. If you do not, please contact us IMMEDIATELY so we can remedy. Please do not wait several weeks without hearing from us - the internet is not perfect and we'd rather solve problems right away so you get your treats in a timely manner. If you are sending gifts to more than one address, just provide us with your address on the order form and when we send the confirmation email you can give us the individual order breakdown.
Breakfast Bars
All
the best of breakfast, in an easy to travel with snap-bar. These are a treat,
not a complete food, but if you're going away overnight they're an OK substitute
for a meal. We combine turkey bacon (no nitrates or other bad stuff of
course) with free-range eggs and some cheddar cheese and put in an over-sized
(around 5") whole wheat biscuit with a convenient snap in the middle.
We're currently offering the Bacon/Egg/Cheese flavor; soon we'll be adding
an Eggs Florentine variety as well!

Honey I Shrunk the Ginger-Kids!
Got a pooch prone to tummy upset? These yummy treats
are a mix of ginger (great for settling the stomach) and soothing vanilla...tasty
for anyone, a hit for belly-ache barkers. In a whole wheat base these bite-size
buddies are the perfect size for any size mouth.

Pepto-Biscuits
Both
honey and cinnamon have been used forever to ease an upset stomach. We've
combined them and made them into a yummy treat that will help ease occasional
stomach upset of your pooch. A 5 oz. bag of assorted size stars should be
enough to get you through the next couple of rough patches and also make
a great, mild everyday snack.

Candy Cups
Make
any day extra special with a set of our Candy Cups (12 pieces). These are
an assortment of yogurt + carob, yogurt + peanut butter, and carob + peanut
butter. 12 yummies (remember they're for the dog, not you!) in an eco-friendly
box make this perfect to give and receive.
NOTE: if Peanut Butter is a no-no in your house because of allergies, just let us know in the comment field and we'll mix up the assortment.

Paws 4 Pretzels
Old-fashioned,
hand-rolled pretzels for your pooch! We boil them first to get that chewy
outer crust then slowly roast them to get them crunchy inside. These oversized
goodies are longer-term treats than a quick cookie. It takes Vince about
1/2 an hour to get thru one of these.
These are whole wheat based, with the fruit/veg/protein added then combined with water and topped with sesame seeds, flax seeds, and/or dried fruit.

We've

Surf n Turf Bites WHEAT-FREE
We
launched these at the farmer's markets this summer and they've been a huge
hit (very popular with cats as well it turns out!). We start with a rice
flour base, add Wild Alaskan salmon, and use fresh chicken stock to bind
them. The wheat-free rice flour is good for allergy dogs and the salmon protein
provides a tasty form of EFAs (which have natural inflammatory properties
to further benefit allergy dogs). Cut into bite-sized bits they're a fit
for every mouth.

These
are Norman's new favorite treat...and he's very particular. We combine dark

Crunchy, Gingered Carrots VEGAN
Another
yummy, low-fat treat to tempt the pallette. A whole wheat cookie with tons
of fresh carrot, some spice to make it even more appealing and yummy sunflower
seeds to give your pooch some extra EFAs for healthy skin and coat. These
are fun carrot-shaped goodies that will work in any size mouth (about 5"

Our
biggest treat has been a huge hit at the farmer's markets! An oversized monkey
(peanut butter + banana cookie) with carob chips for eyes. Yum, eh? The cookies
are about 2.5" high and 2" across or so, oversized and crunchy
but you can break into small pieces easily for a smaller dog.

sweet potato pups VEGAN
Another
fun, no-fat treat for any dog. We combine sweet potato with a splash of nutmeg,
ginger and cinnamon. These are an oversized treat (about 2.5" across and 2"
high) but can be nibbled on by any size mouth.

liver love bites GRAIN-FREE
This
has been our most popular treat since we started nearly 3 years ago! Not
your average liver-flavored biscuit, this is a baked straight-up liver treat.
These are cut up into small 'training-size' bites as dogs go CRAZY for 'em.
They're good to pop in your pocket for walks as well. A super-crunchy goodie
that's great for dogs with grain allergies as its made with garbanzo flour

These
are a favorite treat for Vince and me when sitting around watching the game.
Imagine an all-natural, whole-wheat, dog-friendly pizza-flavored Cheez-it,
that would be our pizza bite! These are a great bite-size treat, crunchy but
not too crunch for suitable for dogs with limited tooth action. Also available
in a larger bone size for bigger snack needs.
Ingredients: whole wheat flour, non-fat milk, tomato paste, parmesean cheese, canola oil, pizza flavoring (basil, oregano, thyme).

tender tummy treats WHEAT-FREE
These
are great for dogs with sensitive stomachs as well as those suffering through
the occasional upset tummy. These treats are just meat and rice, just like
the doctor prescribed! These are also suitable for younger puppies and their
still-developing digestive systems and are bite-size and crunchy. Another great
wheat-free option for dogs with allergies as well. Like
most of our small treats, these are sized well for stuffing into Kongs or other
treat-ball style toys.

A
variation on our original, we also offer our TT's in chicken and rice formula.
Ideal for puppies going thru that 'eating everything stage' and the bellyache

souvlaki snackers GRAIN-FREE!
A
bite-sized lamb biscuit that will please all the Greek dogs (mine go crazy
for roasted lamb) and their non-Greek dog friends too. As well as a yummy
new offering for allergy dogs. They're about the same size as are Quackers
(pictured at left).
Ingredients: garbanzo flour, lamb, oregano, parsley, garlic, sesame seeds, olive oil.

doggy donuts
These
soft donuts are based on one of our cake recipes. A yummy honey-sweeted carob
donut that we dip in peanut butter yogurt and coat with fruit-juice sweetened
sprinkles. Yup, you'll like these too! Think about Sunday mornings, cup of
coffee, reading the paper...sharing a dozen donuts with your pup.
NOTE: THESE TREATS ARE SOFT + MOIST. They must be refrigerated (or you can freeze) to keep them from spoiling if they're not consumed as soon as the postman arrives, also during summer months they will ship un-frosted because of the melt factor.

spiced pumpkins VEGAN + LO-FAT
Our
pumpkin treats were designed specifically for our Norman. Norm needed
more fiber in his diet and I was trying to find new and exciting things to
do with pumpkin. Spiced pumpkins (with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg) were
just the trick - and they love them! These are crunchy but easy to break up
into smaller pieces so they last a bit longer than around here.
Ingredients: whole wheat flour, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg.

peanut better bones
"Why call
them peanut better bones instead of peanut butter bones?" you ask. Well,
'cuz they taste better and are better for your dog than most PB 'flavored'
stuff you'll find out there. These are similar in crunch-factor to the pumpkin
bones. We keep it simple on the ingredients and then dip the end of the cookie
in yummy peanut butter yogurt for a little extra kick! We can dip your bones
in carob if you prefer, just put the note in the comments field or send us

A little nibble
after dinner to give the teeth a good once over and help relax your pooch.
These biscuits will not make your dog sleepy like an OTC product, but s/he
probably shouldn't drive right after a couple of treats :) We use yummy vanilla
(we roast our own pods so no fears of alcohol in extract), dried lavendar and
some herbals for relaxation. You may even find your pup smells like that delish
